Varsity shows strong at High School Nationals

Varsity makes National High School Semi-finals appearance

The Varsity team represented Colorado well at the National High School Tournament (AA division) in Maple Grove, MN this past weekend. With a tournament record of 4-1, the team won all of their round-robin games as well as, their quarter-final match up. Ultimately, falling in the semi-finals to the eventual tournament winner (Springfield MA Thunderbirds).

The team played heroically after losing three players to injuries with the entire team bringing their best effort each game. Senior forward Nolan Darlington (North HS) finished as the tournament point leader with 13, while Junior Andrew Ennis (South HS) finished 5th (with 9 pts). Junior goalie Barrett Smithburger (Northfield HS) kept the team in every game finishing the tournament with a 92.3% save percentage and over 155 saves (over four games).

Varsity Opens 2025 Season with Tourney Win in SD!

The East HS Varsity team opened their season capturing first place in the Fun in Sun tournament in San Diego. Rallying back to beat two teams in the semis and finals that had edged them earlier in the round robin play.

East JV has strong showing at Turkey Invitational in Irvine!

In a hard fought tournament, the East JV team played stellar with a 4-1 record through five games. Only losing the Championship Game 2-3 to the host team (that they had previous beat 1-0 earlier in the tournament), all players came to play and represented East and Denver hockey to the very best of their abilities.

East Varsity Wins President's Day TN Tourney!
