John Info

John is a USA Hockey Level 5 Master coach. He has been behind the Angels bench for over a decade and was awarded High School Coach of the Year in 2022 after the team captured both the state championship and National title.

Kopperud grew up playing, and then coaching, in the small northeastern North Dakota town of Grafton, which is 10 miles from Canada and 30 miles from Minnesota. As a coach, Kopperud has 6 CAHA state championships, 2 trips to the national quarterfinals, and one national championship.

John resides in Denver with his wife, Rebecca and has two children. Claire is at CU (Go Buffs!) and Matthew at Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!). John is broker/owner of Kopperud Real Estate, a small residential, multi-family, and management real estate firm.
